No Doc Ock of any kind?!? And most of the figures are of more modern Spidey storylines? With no offense intended to those who like the stories, I don't care about Future Foundation Spidey and Iron Spider. Also, as someone who cannot stand the Marc Webb films, making a Tobey Maguire Spider-Man figure and not an Andrew Garfield one doesn't seem fair to me.

The only figures on the list I would buy would be Spinneret and Spider-Man two-pack, Amazing Fantasy Spidey, Animated Series Spidey, 70s series Spidey, the Walmart exclusive Lizard and Tobey's Spider-Man, and even that is depending on not only which rumored figures are actually real, but which pre-orders I'd even be able to get since Wal-Mart and Target are lousy with pre-orders.

This list of 60th anniversary is so bad, I'm already looking forward to what 2023 has in store just to get this mess out of my mind. Mainly because I was expecting more. More villains (DOC OCK, PLEASE!!!), more civilian characters, and, well, more thought put into it. Nothing about this list seems really exciting or keeping my interest to buy a majority of the line like most Spider-Man waves usually do. The Retro waves have kept my interest way more than these rumored 60th anniversary lists.

Thanks for reading my two cents (which is two cents more than my opinions are actually worth). I hope you all have a great day and stay safe, everyone.
Seriously! When I heard there was a sixtieth anniversary line, my head went to getting characters like Aunt May, the Enforcers, & a better Ock. Excellent observation with the modern focus (although unsurprising given the team’s interests & focuses).

It seems odd how they’re handling the entire line-up. The choice in movie figures is suspect, given the overwhelming popularity of NWH, I would expect tons of figures based on that & the Raimi/ Webb films.

Ditto on which figures I’d purchase, although I’m less interested in Toei Spidey & animated Spidey. I’d have to see how they look. Especially given that these may well be at the new $32.99 anniversary price-point of the ML twentieth anniversary figures (Jesus, how pricey will that make the two-packs?).

It just seems like a series of strange choices, and like a lot of the line lately, seems out of touch with what fans actually want. I’ve gotten really fed up lately with how bizarre the choices that have been made are (like the Bonebreaker wave or the 20th Anniversary figures). It feels like the team is giving us a lot of what they want, and are just assuming we’ll buy whatever because the line has been selling so well. Which would suggest they’re right, but like, I have to imagine there’s a line.

I was just thinking about how little I bought this year, and it’s disappointing. I used to have so much more enthusiasm for what they were putting out, and the current line just… isn’t doing it for me. Rising prices aren’t helping either.

My pipe-dream was a (probably SDCC/ Pulse) Daily Bugle set with some combination of Peter Parker, Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant, Glory Grant, Ned Leeds, Eddie Brock, & Ben Urich.
