SO weird you just said that. I am working on a Spawn gallery for later today, and Soul Crusher uses that new ankle style with the peg. It is significantly better to handle. Not perfect, but better. I am hoping it was done to help with functionality and not just ease of production or cost. Soul Crusher's foot can plant with way less focused attention than most DC Multiverse. Until we have several in hand though, can't tell if it's a one off luck of the draw situation or not.
