TB Vision used to go for a pretty penny but once Hasbro made classic retro Vision, the value of that TB version has dropped as hardly no one cares to buy it now. Hasbro classic Vulture has made the TB classic version drop in price as well. Sometimes it's a case of you snooze, you lose. There are way too many other Marvel characters that have yet to even get a 6' action figure made of them but people want an umpteenth version of a figure that's already been done to death. I want classic Tarantula done on the new Spidey retro buck or even Sunfire buck before another Doc Ock-Kraven-Scorpion. When is classic 1st app Wonderman in the Avengers retro line? An in scale classic Wrecking crew is way more essential & in need of a redo before any Spiderman villains that have already gotten figures.
Speaking solely for myself, I always love it when characters get re-made/re-released, especially when I know it'll be around Christmas or January for my birthday because I know I have a better chance of getting one since I'm perpetually broke. As I'm a collector too who keeps some items in the box when I can afford to, I totally get that there are people that want their figure to be valuable and don't like that another gets made X years after the previous one. But that's how it's always been. If anything, in my experience, it's harder for me to find classic characters of popular heroes in their classic comic costumes now than ever. I dislike having to wait 4 to 5 years to try and find someone I missed out the last time. And it's not so much "you snooze, you lose" as it is scalpers buy up figures of characters they know are popular and then re-sell them for two or three times as high because they know fans want them. I also don't use examples like "you snooze, you lose" because it seems like it's insulting the person who genuinely wanted it but couldn't find it or couldn't buy it at the time for whatever reason. I get that happens sometimes, but it doesn't help when Hasbro makes a certain character fans want and something happens to make fans miss out like limited availability, releasing it at a certain time of day a fan may not be online, making it a store exclusive or Hasbro Pulse exclusive, etc., etc.

Yes, there are way too many action figures that need figures first. Yes, I would also love to buy versions of new figures that haven't gotten a turn or haven't had a figure made in 10+ years. New figures of characters like the Wrecking Crew, the Absorbing Man, Titania, Volcana, orange-and-black costume Leader, the Mole Man, Tyrannus, the Wizard, Trapster, Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime, classic Kaine, Calypso, any version of Wonder Man (first appearance, safari jacket, '90s black-and-red costume, etc.), classic Falcon with a Redwing figurine, classic red-and-black costume Wasp, classic red costume Daredevil, the Enforcers, the U-Foes, the Rose, classic Delilah, Octo-Spidey, the Amazing Bag Man, Xorn, any version of She-Hulk (purple-and-white costume, Fantastic Four uniform, etc.), brown jumpsuit Professor Hulk from Peter David's comic run, Avalanche, any version of Banshee, and any of the Outback X-Men, among many, many, MANY more, would all be great additions to the Marvel Legends line and fans have been waiting for years for them to either get a turn at re-makes or to get first-time-ever figures. Heck, I wouldn't mind more multi-packs or boxed sets so we can get pairings like the U-Foes, the Enforcers, the Tinkerer and two of his "alien" henchmen (one with an alternate Quentin Beck head, of course), the Red Ghost and his Super Apes, the Slingers, and many more.

But that said, it takes time to get around to everyone and once in a while we do need a previously released classic character to get re-made or re-released in order for those who missed out to get their chance to find it and buy it too. And since we only have at least one for sure classic wave of characters per line a year now, since this year we're getting apparently one X-Men wave, a rumored Retro Iron Man wave, one comic Avengers wave, the 20th Anniversary of Marvel Legends wave, the 60th anniversary Spider-Man figures of various Spider-Men, and the rest of the waves are either M.C.U. based, Disney Plus series based, or based on 'Across the Spider-Verse', there aren't as many slots for comic based figures per wave as there used to be now that we have more movies, sequels and series in the works.

Thanks for reading my nonsense. I hope you all have a wonderful day and stay safe, everyone.
