Robin Infinite Frontier my 2cents

Overall – It’s an acceptable Robin figure for the display. But it feels like a figure that should have been packed with another. Get it on sale.

Aesthetics
Nearly one to one with the comic. Just missing a few small paint apps (Back of the hands and the green buckle).

I think the head sculpt is a much better head this is last outing. As much as I want his head to match the size of most human heads in this line………Damian has a comically large head. It’s just always massive.
Must be where he stores his ego.

The suit itself is nicely painted and plenty of detail. Even the bottom of the boots has sculpted detail. The cape is okay but I think a removable cape hanging straight down would have been better.

Articulation

Dear lord I hope it’s just my figure but the legs just pop off way too easily. This figure uses ball joints which I like but if you push them up too far, they just pop off. I have to take the leg off and place where I want it to be to pose them. In addition, a thigh cut could have offset some of these issues.
The second sin of this figure is the torso. I loathe this approach. I get it makes it look seamless, but it means no ab crunch and you need rotate the entire torso. I wish they had at least designed it like they usually do. The black tunic offered a perfect spot for a split.
The figure does have double jointed arms so that’s nice. The tunic kind of limits raising the arms even if you move the shoulder covering out of the way. Had they raised that covering up this would be less of an issue.

He’s not a statue but he’s a statue.

Accessories
Comes with a sword. Nothing spectacular about it, I have it to Deathstroke.
Two sets of hands plus and unmasked head would have made this a more valuable figure.
