Possibly. But it’s what I have to go on. It’s not like Netflix posts raw viewing numbers. While I never said “nobody likes the show” I haven’t seen much of a positive response towards it either. The origins figures are doing well, but many of the Netflix figures were clearanced out and replaced by the new kid-focused HeMan cartoon figures and more Origins shelf space.
Over here, the Origins figure sections have shrunk a fair amount (in fact the Forbidden Planet I went to that used to have a whole wall of them just three months ago now just sell a couple He-Man and Skeletor origins figures that for some reason they store in the glass cabinet with the NECA and japanese figures, rather than on the easy to access shelves lol) and the 'kid-focused He-Man cartoon' which is ALSO on Netflix barely sell at all and have been pulled from most stores (and weren't even sold in that FP store to begin with) bar a couple figures (I see the Battle Cat sometimes but that's about it) while more have brought in Masterverse, particularly the recent wave with Scare Glow and Stinkor for some reason, while the earlier ones have been on clearance and some folk being using that to catch up. Even started seeing them appear in stores that don't normally sell figures at all like a video game shop and bizarrely a bicycle shop that has a small toys section lol. The fact that the show has a second season in production after Netflix had to downsize itself says enough for me and me and my best mate (and my kid) enjoy discussing it and the Masterverse figures in a facebook group that's got almost 20,000 members which seems enough for me for a cartoon aimed at a mature audience based on one from the 80s so aye it's doing fine for now and we all seem pretty hyped that a follow up season is coming. and with it, more action figures. lol

My kid has had some Origins, CGI toon and Masterverse and he prefers the latter. He couldn't get into the cgi cartoon itself (he's not a fan of CGI in general. He likes drawing a lot and finds it easier to draw fan-art of characters who have more distince outlines and two dimensions lol) and enjoyed Revelation even though his mum gave me a bit of a telling off because it's not aimed at kids and she doesn't like that he's started saying 'bollocks' because 'Evil-Lyn' said it. Actually he probably got that from me when I've said it when looking after him during the time my partner and I were separated but I blamed it on Evil-Lyn. He did start collecting origins but he said he never liked the 'goofy' proportions though I did show him they were improved somewhat over the extra stumpy vintage figures I had as a kid. At the moment he super wants the King Grayskull figure that seemingly EVERY American on the Facebook group keeps posting pics of they found that figure on Target shelves way before even any pre-orders have been fulfiled yet it's not available over here in Britain so far. Wouldn't mind one myself but I'm not buying two of that one because it's a lil more expensive lol. We each have our own Revelation He-Man and Skeletor and I had to pay for TWO lots of HordakMX custom heads because I bought one set for my own figures and my kid got all snippy and demanded them for his too. And I gave in like the chump I am. Aye, he doesn't have his own Battle Cat though due to the cost of that figure so we share that as well as the other figures. Might actually be the first action figure line where we've played it together other than a slight dabble with Transformers. So aye, I'd love to keep that going until he grows out of it all too.

As for viewing numbers. No idea. But they did say this about both Netflix shows
Masters of the Universe: Revelation:
- #1 Kids Show in the United States on Netflix
Top 5 Overall Series in 20 Countries
He-man and the Masters of the Universe:
- Top 10 Kids Show in 20+ Countries

And Masterverse did win action figure of the year at The Toy Foundation's Toy of the Year awards so that was encouraging too.

Plus not really important here but I love that Bear McCreary won best TV soundtrack from International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA) for his work on Revelation too. I've been a fan of his since God of War on the PS4 a few years ago. One of the other nominations in that category was also by him (Foundation). So he beat himself and lost to himself too?

Real ace article by Bear here that goes into a lot of detail. I just linking because I found it interesting lol
