We're moving to a new complex for a 3 bedroom apartment since we couldn't qualify for a high enough mortgage loan to afford a house (we were only given $392,000, and to get a place that isn't a shack in the middle of a bad neighborhood we needed another $100K, and that is even for just a townhome).

We've outgrown the place we've been at for 10 years now since my wife works from home these last few years. Thus, we just had to make a choice and found the cheapest 3 bedroom apartment that would be available around the time our current lease ends.


We locked it in at the rate of $2750 a month, which is actually a good thing too becasue three bedrooms are now starting at $3300.
