lol. I'm imagining that with the raspy voice she had in the 80s Filmation cartoon and aye, that's hilarious. Cheers for the laughs, mate.

I do hope for a more updated classic look figure in the future. And people can call me what they want, but I don't find abs on women attractive at all. Thats just my personal taste and my general attraction to women in general.
Aye, fair enough. My partner used to have abs back when she was a personal trainer and crossfit obsessive. Before the likely permanent damage of long covid put an end to all that. I originally watched the show with my kid, but for one of our rewatches my partner joined us and I dunno, seeing Evil-Lyn, gain abs and bigger biceps when she obtained the Power of Grayskull made my partner smile and remind her happier more active times so I want that action figure for her. Well I want it for myself too. Maybe I'll buy two. lol. I mean we're still living apart due to 'our' place being up two storeys and her having to live in a ground floor room converted into a bedroom at her mother's house since she now finds stairs difficult to use, and we've not had much luck finding a suitable home for me, her and our kid yet. So aye, I can buy one for my collection here and one for her room there. And when we all live together again, we'll just have two God-Lyns. Nothing wrong with that. lol
As for 'Liberated Lyn' I'll explain that at the end of these costume model sheets from Powerhouse that might help clear up some things:
Classic - from episode 1. Largely traditional with some updating. No action figure so far.
Modern (Darksword just refers to the fact she's got the dark half of the Power Sword on her belt there) - Post timeskip. Been about 5 years since the events of Episode 1. Her first figure in Masterverse is based on this look and includes an alternate helmet-less head because she goes without the helmet during some parts of that journey.
SkeleSorceress (or Bat-Lyn as we like to call her) - Skeletor has the Power of Grayskull and changes Lyn into the new Sorceress of Grayskull. With a bat theme instead of the usual Sorceress' falcon theme. Regular class action figure revealed at SDCC reveal panel.
God-Lyn (or Dark-Lyn as some call her for some reason) - Lyn takes the Power of Grayskull for herself. Ignore the bright green cloak. That's like green-screen thing for when the animators put in the cosmic universe effect in post-production. Deluxe class action figure revealed at SDCC Masterverse display.
Liberated Lyn - After her fight with Sorceress Teela and realising the error of her ways, Lyn gives up the magic and walks off to a new life. No action figure so far.

Thanks for the story on Roboto. Like I said, I've always had a thing for Roboto's cool robot look, ever since I was a kid with the original toys. I do hope he does not come with a poncho...as Mattel will just bring it out in a deluxe package and make it more expensive, which I hate. That's what they did with Tri-Klops(one of my favorites). I was disappointed they never brought out a regular release for him that didn't cost $30+ dollars.
Well the Revelation figures are aimed at fans of the Revelation cartoon and so we tend to want as many of the story based extras as possible and the Motherboard cult was big part of what some of Skelly's chaps went onto after he 'died' and so Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw include those outfits so we can recreate those scenes and such too. So aye in some cases that means the figures gotta be deluxes to include them all. Sorry. lol. But if you lucky you can sometimes find certain figures in clearance like any other toyline. I know a lot of people have bought multiples to display all looks at the same time like this chap here who had multiples of many figures all done up in different looks and representing different parts of the Revelation story but also including New Eternia too.

But aye it looks like Roboto will be a standard release so that should suit you I hope. I'm still not sure why he seems to be lacking the hammer to forge the swords though. But damnit many of us want his poncho too. lol. As for Tri-Klops aye maybe there will be a New Eternia one that is more to your liking. So far all of the New Eternia figures include alternate parts that can make the figure look more or less 'classic' and they've all been regular non-Deluxe priced so far except for New Eternia Beast Man as he's a bigger figure and has a lot of extra armour and bits. So aye, a New Eternia Tri-Klops would likely be a concept art look, but include enough extras to make him look more traditional but still be a normal-priced figure like 'Barbarian' Skeletor, 'Viking' He-Man and the new Zodac figure are.
Blimey that was another lengthy post. Sorry. lol. I hope it again helps explain some things. This time my kid helped me with sorting the images before he went to bed. He has a folder on this computer with all those character model sheets and they're also in his hardback book I got him for his birthday, 'The Art of MotU Revelation' which is pretty ace too. Aye, anyways goodnight!
