Haha! Why would John's talents be wasted on Black Panther? The character is rich with nuance and has been at odds with many of Marvel's heavyweights. Lets just take a look at the heroes, villains and teams to whom he has been a foil: Tony Stark, Cap, Namor, Blue Marvel, Doom, Mephisto, Galactus the FF, the Avengers and the Ultimates. Black Panther offers complexities that they were only scratching the surface of with Civil War. Arguably, Panther made Civil War the standout film it was, but you're suggesting that's light work for John. Hmmm, ok...

Edit: I just read an article suggesting calls for Black Panther to be recast have a sexist undercurrent. While that could definitely be the truth somewhere, I've wanted a recast since Chadwick's passing. Shuri's stint as Black Panther was cool, but brief. I view this upcoming film as more than just a stopgap and have a healthy amount of curiosity regarding how they develop Shuri. However, I also want T'Challa to return to the screen so that I can see the exploits that made me a fan played out on screen.
