Hasbro has done a really good job of keeping Marvel Universe affordable, and addressing demand. Part of the fun of this line is the hunt, and I think they've found a balance between rarity and accessibility.
Well, the bottom line if you do not pay you will not get. It is simple economics of supply vs demand for sure. The RARE figures are going to command value period.

FYI. The Thanos wave is done. Then the original release will be worth MORE. Prompting more demand for ORIGINAL release.
