Know something? Your post made me really stop to think about how cool this line is. It’s easy to get lost in “where’s Stingray?” or “why’s Tigra based on her modern look?” and easy to forget how crazy it is that I have the luxury to bitch about my super-articulated, detailed Tigra figure. We’re at a point in the line where our collective complaint is Banshee. Banshee! The depth and breadth of ML is unparalleled (we have three Dazzlers!), and I’m guilty of being unappreciative of that.

To one of your other points, I am so happy to see someone else galvanize Dwayne McDuffie as the immense talent that he was. Those cartoons were my gateway drug into comics, particularly JLU. His episode “To Another Shore” sticks out to me as some of the best writing (not TV, not comics, *writing*) I’ve ever encountered. The heart and hope that he brought to the DC Universe is to me the essence of comic book heroes.
