Your post made me think of something. For the most part, Marvel Legends, was built on comic book character, so much so, that a comic, with that character in it, was include with the action figure. Then, ML went a different route, and started to produce action figures for the MCU. Hasbro, did produce some good MCU figures, and began to lose focus on the comic book characters, the bread and butter of ML. The saying goes, "don't try to reinvent the wheel," but it seems as if some at Hasbro has decided that reinventing the wheel is a good thing for business, which has made them forget about the beginnings (comic figures) and what made the action figures fun for the fans. IMO, the Moon Knight and the Disney+ waves are not that appealing. Some recent waves seem so under par, that ML fans can now tell which waves are going to clog the toy section and are mostly correcting on their hedge, which is very telling. I will always be a Marvel fan, but I will not always buy ML like I once did. Now, I'm not even looking at future waves, I am going backward and trying to get ML figures that I did not get in the past.
