It's actually kind of surprising to see not one but two characters of color out of McFarland.

Well Three because Black Manta is of course a Black man.
Mcfarlane hasn't really shied away from characters of color.
In a numbers game, Batman is usually a white guy........

Most of DC is white. Which is why it's not a huge surprise they'd like to have more diversity on the team without creating 20 new characters no one has history with.

I'm more surprised Cyborg hasn't popped up in comic form.

Green Lantern - He did John twice.
Kid Flash - Wallace and not Wally/Bart
Aqualad - Not Garth

Burton figures is more a matter of time. Especially when the Flash movie drops. Schumacher, as long as Mcfarlane makes the artistic choice to remove the Bat Nipples.

Overall these announced figures look good. I don't seem them addressing articulation of improved the aesthetics of the knees and elbows. At least this side eye nonsense is over. The age of really long legs is here.

While I assume there are many unannounced Batman figures.....this line up is looking solid.

I think they do need to address the pagepuncher comic problem. In that four of the same comic is pretty wonky. It would be better if we have four different comics. Otherwise you got three wasted comics.

Mr Freeze has his gun. So fictionalized firearms seem to be back on the table. I hope the fishbowl easily comes off so you can articulate the head.

The only Batman/Joker I'm swearing off is comic Bruce Waynes. Movie versions I will probably get. I expect so many Bane posts on Reddit once that figure comes out.

So Spring 23. Which means they ship out what next week?
