They obviously don't care as much about whom sells their figures as we might think, otherwise Hasbro Pulse would be a buttoned-down, well-oiled machine.

The point is trying to pick and buy from the guys who will always be first is a fruitless endeavor, because without fail someone somewhere is always going to get the stuff before you do. So in the end just learn patience.
Hasbro has been making Marvel Legends since 2007, which gives them 16 years of experience with the license and all the surrounding elements. Beyond the unpredictable supply chain woes brought on by a global pandemic, they’ve had ample time to work out “kinks” within their logistical distribution, a very important element of any manufacturer’s efforts to deliver their wares to customers. Mind you, the haphazard delivery of Legends to online retailers pre-dates the recent revelations regarding worldwide supply chains and is an enduring feature for Marvel Legends collectors, even with the advent of Hasbro Pulse, their own proprietary website.
I’m assuming that you’re attempting to assuage the typical grumbling that arises when these routine inconsistencies transition from the placid heating of water to a full-on rolling boil. However, noticing patterns is what we’re encouraged to do in the process of discovery of anything and Hasbro’s inconsistency has been the only constant in this equation. While I may not know, specifically, why Hasbro cannot seem to get a handle on the logistics of delivery after 16 years, I do understand the relationship between a manufacturer and their on-line/brick & mortar retailers and can opine without delving into rank conspiracy.
Exclusivity, even a briefly timed one, is a huge carrot for foot-traffic (or on-line traffic, for that matter) in this age of FOMO and it represents a huge bargaining chip for Hasbro. My grousing has less to do with lacking patience, I have plenty of that, and more to do with being disgruntled because I’ve been a good faith actor for many years and have grown tired of the antics surrounding release windows. At some point, it became obvious to me that Hasbro’s system isn’t broken, it’s designed to be this way.
And this has little to do with where I’m currently at as a collector as I've voiced my opinion about this for many years.
