HOO-FUCKING-RA!!! This figure is a FANTASTIC Aparo/Byrne Batman. Sure it's marketed as "Knightfall" but, with those colors and head sculpt? Late 70's/early 80's greatness right there. Very VERY happy to see the new articulation scheme is present.

The neck and old Revoltech style articulation were the only things that knocked Hush Bats down a couple of points for me. Hush Bats also has the "Manties" as you call them. In fact almost every version of Batman McFarlane has released uses it. Not sure why you said,"Finally."

I've always preferred the "Overwear" (I'm not calling it "Manties") design because it breaks up the sea of grey. It's just how I think of Batman and Superman. Probably due to the fact that I looked at that design cue for 30 years before it was changed.

Great figure. I'll definitely be picking it up.

An actor's likeness is a huge part of their "Brand". And like any brand it needs to be managed and maintained. The Estate of a deceased individual wants to make money if the likeness is used. And why not? The toy company is clearly using the likeness to sell a product. It only makes sense an Estate would want fair compensation and control what they feel is "appropriate use". I'm not at all speaking to an Estate's reticence to allow said use. Just to the "why the difficulty" portion of the conversation.

I've always thought that was the stupidest name of any Batskick. Was he silver in the comics? Looks to be black suited on the card art. But it's Todd so they rarely makes a difference.
