The fact that Jada even made action figures came across my consciousness when I was looking at NECA's Universal Monsters line.
They looked like they offered a lot of what the NECA figures offered for 45% less money.

However, I didn't pull the trigger until Jada got the license for Bela Lugosi's likeness. I saw a YouTube video and the reviewer stated that he was impressed that instead of re-releasing the original figure with Bela Lugosi’s likeness they released a separate figure representing Lugosi as he portrayed Dracula in the stage production.
He made the case that Jada knew people were going to get a second Dracula just to get Lugosi’s image so they made a different Dracula figure so collectors wouldn’t have one Dracula figure they displayed and one they kept in storage.
He demonstrated that the new figure came with two heads, enabling him to swap his “Generic Dracula” head on the initial release and essentially giving him two distinct Lugosi figures without forcing him to re-purchase the original figure.
I don’t know if he truly knew Jada’s corporate mindset, but his logic made sense and I was impressed.

I was more impressed at the quality of the figure when it arrived.
So impressed that I bought the rest of their Universal Monsters line.
I’ve only opened the Gillman and Frankenstein’s Monster so far, but they are excellent.

I also purchased Ryu and Fei Long from their Street Fighter line.
I couldn’t be more impressed with those figures.

Great design quality.
Great production quality.
Great quality control.
Fantastic likenesses to the characters.
Alternate heads, alternate hands, and FX parts with stands.
$25.

I am not going to collect their Mega Man line, but I have confidence in saying they are probably going to be excellent figures.
