3. Yes, I know that “blockbuster” is a subjective descriptor, as is “bomb” and this happens to be one of the reasons why I employed the language that I did. Sensibilities aren’t uniform from person to person.
   
4. You have opinions, that’s good, but they're just that – opinions. Not everything represents an agenda or a mandate. They seem to contemporaneously make toys based on whatever the current sci-fi/fantasy-media zeitgeist puts out. Pretty simple Occam’s razor stuff, right?
   
5. Again, that’s a great opinion, but they have established a model that has worked for them for years. If you have a better idea, seek funding, and open your own shop. An alternative is to try to get hired by Hot Toys to convince them of the efficacy of your plans. Also, if you don’t like this movie, for whatever reason, simply don’t see it. What does bemoaning the ancillary uses of the license do for you internally?
