Thanks! Edited my post to include this.

'89 is still my favorite depiction of Gotham (that neo noir aesthetic is my jam and does so much heavy lifting in making the premise plausible) but the Schumacher movies have such an unbridled glee about them that I can't help but love how they approached the material. B&R may be legit awful (while BF is underrated) but the world the characters inhabit is such incredible toy fodder.

I don't know if it's my Kenner upbringing or just wanting to play with my toys, but cloth capes are infinitely preferred for me and the first thing I do to any figure I decide to customize. I remember trying get a plastic cape Batman into the Batmobile or even just sit at the batcomputer and being infuriated at the downgrade. I still don't like them now, even if I can appreciate how they can enhance a static display.

At $20 retail, the Batsignal is basically a free bonus. This set is DOPE.

As someone currently in the process of modding one of the Flash Batmobiles, something as simple as having uniform screw sizes is a huge plus. It honestly feels intentional, like how they could've just painted the head/taillights and called it a day, but made them separate pieces that can be removed to open the car up for lighting. It's a far cry from trying to mod my Classified Joes, where popping off the arms feels like I'm about to shatter the butterfly joints.

But now that I've got two more '89 Keatons on the way with these sets, I'm thinking of cancelling a couple of my Batman/Batmobile sets. I was thinking to keep one stock Batman, then mod for proper cape/neck pristine, post-crash battle-damaged Batman, and a second modded pristine to hang out with my Bat props away from my figures.

6 copies of this figure might be a bit extreme, no?
