True. In that case I should personally write hasbro to thank them for saving us from fire hazard accessories
and then we get a sabine with a lit saber, hilt, couple tiny blasters, jet pack, helmet, and a critter with a $10 deluxe tax.
On one hand I want to just shut up and not complain while just waiting to pay $10-15 on clearance because I happen to not see it as worth that much while others do. That's fine and all, to each their own.
On the other hand, I can't help but wonder how sustainable that is for the line in long term. How long will retailers continue to pay hasbro their wholesale rate for toys with declining sales at full retail price? Short-term I'm sure Hasbro doesn't give two wet sh*ts about retailers losing money on their stuff constantly going to clearance but how much longer can they realistically keep raising the prices every six months to a year or so and expect that retailers will stay on board?
Both griping/venting and asking in earnest for sake of opening conversation and input.
