I've never watched Dairugger.
I should give it a go.

I remember watching the Voltron version in middle school and it was weird that there would be random episodes that focused on one particular pilot and then you would never see that pilot again.

For the first few episodes they were really concerned that when combined Voltron only had enough "nuclear energy" for 5 minutes.
Then that was never a consideration again.

It did look accurate in the proportions and the colors.
But for the money that it cost I didn't like how the inside of the lion legs were hollow.
I didn't mind the parts swapping to emulate the folded up legs but I questioned why they couldn't do a parts swap to replace the front legs of the black lion instead of just having them dangle off Voltron's back.
