I know there is a thread for customs, but it doesn't get much attention. Also, we were supposed to get Blue Beetle's Bug ship from Spin Master, but we didn't. So I thought maybe this would inspire some fun custom work from those of you enjoy that sort of thing.
Of course I'm using the popcorn bucket version of the bug ship that Cinemark sold. The first thing I did was to paint the whole thing. It looks pretty cool as is, but I wanted to give it some more depth and detail. I designed and 3D printed a floor insert. I found a cool opening hatch STL, modified it, and included that in the floor as well. I 3D printed the console (and designed the graphics), plus some mounts for Ted's various arsenal and gadgets. The crates are also prints. The chairs are from Star Trek, but I printed swivel mounts for the bottoms of them so that they are a little taller and can turn around.
Lastly, I included some 90s era Justice league customs that I made forever ago. I still love them a lot, and it's fun to finally have a vehicle for them. Hope you enjoy!
