>> Its regarded as A Top 10 (IMO possibly Top 5) Marvel comics epoch. Of course supporting itself in unicen along w/ Hickman's FF & Warren Ellis' T-Bolts: Caged Angels (the precursor to BMB's Dark Avengers).

But alone, Bendis's NwA 'Breakout', than Post CIVIL WAR into Secret Invasion (them solid tie-ins) then Dark Reign; all concluding in SIEGE. Is in total, the Best long-winded modern Marvel cross-over to date IMO.

Ya got them 3 CABAL one-shots (including the Secret Invasion epilogue Dark Reign kick-off one-shot), The Hood's gang stories (including the Hood Dark Reign mini-series), The Sentry stuff from way back in New Avengers (pre CIVIL WAR) that all comes full circle in the Big SIEGE (1-4) grand finale. Thems some MUST READ comics! Especially if you like Marvel villains

Hell, even the reg. (flagship) AVENGERS comics that BMB briefly wrote w/ JRJR pencils- which came in the aftermath of SIEGE were good too decent, w/ The Hood & the Infinity Gauntlet.

Then they relaunched New Avengers; an BMB couldn't put it away (Lmao)! Thus having Osborn briefly reform A New Dark Avengers team w/ Skaar, Gorgon, Trickshot & Ai-Apaec the real Man-Spider. Just Go read them 3 comics- New Avengers (vol.2 / 2011) 16.1, 17 & 18. Then tell me how you "Hate Marvel comics by BMB."

As for M Legends first "cloth capes" it looks okay in the one pic. Then in the other it looks like cheap one ply, 80's Super-powers style. An you are right- that since Doom has A cloth cape; then Taskmaster should of had one as well. It makes sense..
Also,
maybe they should of just made it an SDCC 'CABAL' 5pk.... An give us another 'Astonishing Emma' updated- w/ cloth & A more Leinl Yu; Dark Reign appropiate head. Plus A proper Parker Robbins 'The Hood' figure altogether! Who would also have A cloth cape & A better headsculpt that isn't Ryan (himself) yelling at Dan & Dwight.

It really bothers me that they did that (w/ the "Bring on the Bad guys" wave Hood fig), and didn't even bother offering us A secondary more classic accurate Kyle Hotz styled head- that depicts his actual ethnicity (an insult to the character & his creators).
I've read and own some New Avengers and Secret Invasion trades but, maybe I will give them another read through. I'm finding that stories that I enjoyed earlier in life aren't as good as I remember them being, when revisiting them. So maybe that goes the other way, as well.
