You can have an army of factory samples that are not correct and then what good is it? Keeping the digital files has probably cut down on the need to source older stuff. And yes, everyone and Bucky-Cap knows they reuse the giant molds to death, but they do eventually breakdown, get slagged and the material reused for newer molds. The factory is not going to store obsolete molds that aren't being used just in case 15 years from now someone decides they want to do a bucky cap 5 pack out of Nostalgia (not sure if Bucky cap is officially retired yet)
