Regardless, Hiya's going after their domestic market, which is much more familiar with the material from the Kelvin Timeline. If they want to take advantage of the North American (and maybe European) market, they'll definitely need to tap into the Prime Timeline but at this rate, that may not happen.

The classic timeline is not the prime timeline, Spock prime from the 2009 movie is actually from the Star Trek Picard timeline, which has nothing to do with the TOS and TNG timeline. Paramount has a internal clause that everything made after Voyager. For some reason, cannot be connected to the classic timeline which encompasses those four tv series. Leonard Nimoy played the character. But it's still not the Spock we knew from the original TV series. Who cares anyway, Star Trek is dead and buried. That won't stop them from sodomizing the corpse though.
