Last couple of weeks worth of stuff. Secret Wars Wolverine from BBTS, Sypha and the Iron Maiden pack from Target's website, and the Gundam is also from BBTS.
The recent-ish release of Nocturne's second season had me reminiscing about the previous series and I kind of remembered that DST did figures but they weren't totally stellar. I was looking back at those and saw that Target had the reduced packaging version of Sypha at a pretty good price through one of their partner stores. They were the same figures but in smaller boxes and with less accessories, for Sypha though this just meant that she didn't have the larger magic effect piece hands but on the flip side for this version one of her smaller effect hands is actually presented as being fire instead of everything being ice.
The Iron Maiden Future Past Eddie set was always something I wanted. Senjutsu was a fine enough album (Book of Souls was better) but holy shit samurai demon Eddie is a good look, and getting the Somewhere in Time Cyborg-Eddie with articulation is also great. As figures they both handle well but the samurai can be a little tricky to stand in dynamic poses. The accessories are all quality made pieces, I especially like the personality hands included for the samurai.
Finally, BBTS had the Robot Spirits RX-78-2 15th anniversary figure on sale. Not 15 years of anything MSG but 15 years of this specific toyline, kinda odd but a good excuse to put out a soft upgrade for this. The main difference between this and the previous version is that the joints are all the same white color as the limbs (like the cartoon) and it has new accessories. Notably the base marking this as the anniversary release and a display stand with some mild customization for displaying a clear plastic still of Amuro piloting the suit and an exclamatory "Char!" sorta speech-bubble thing. It also has some new weaponry with the "hammer" (actually a spiked-ball and chain) and the beam-javelin (from what I saw this wasn't included before).
