[Chosen]

I was actually surprised to spot the Glatorians at my local Wal-Mart, along with only Power Miners and no other 2009 Lego, oddly enough. At least one of each, and only one or two Agori left. Although he's not supposed to be an individual character, I gave Vorox a try anyway. I wasn't disappointed! As much as I loved the 2008 Makuta, Vorox alone makes them look like crap in comparison. I totally agree with SPLIT LIP that the minimal use of silver parts definitely pays off and makes the figures more eye-catching.

I only got him, but compared to the other Glatorians based on pics alone, he's not as unique as some of the others like Skrall but still has a lot of neat touches. The base of his tail? An old-school original Toa foot! Sword a bit inadequate? Well, he's got his own third "limb"! Let's see Tuma pull that off. And of course, he's not yellow or orange, but properly tan. No complaints here about that.

Thanks to SL, I see that I'm definitely going to need Skrall. I like what I've read of the featured Skrall in the comic too; shades of Dinobot, anyone? Not sure what I'd get beyond that and their corresponding Agori. We'll see.
