I wouldn’t give up entirely. These latest reveals demonstrate Hasbro’s willingness to take chances on costumes that offer problems. Hound suit Rachel, Emma, Feral, Mephisto, and even the earlier Damion Hellstrom (sporting a pentagram) represent a departure from what many have assumed were hurdles to production. However, I get where you are coming from. Mandarin’s costume situation ranges from bad design to potentially being insensitive to cultural tropes. That’s a different nut to crack than being risqué, or offensive to certain religious beliefs.

They could provide a suited version of Mandarin, but that might not satisfy fans. The costume that looks like Ming the Merciless, from Flash Gordon, could also be done, but it’s far from iconic. Which costume do you want to see made?

On the topic if Mandarin…I don’t never believe in rumors list….But, I can’t believe that there is that much red tape to make Mandarin, or I can believe it! Lol…I have the old version(s) from the old two packs…I would take a redo of Mandarin in those colors with maybe some removable fabric like for his outfits…

Note: What annoys me the most that Hasbro already has a blue print for Mandarin in their 3.75 line from Iron-Man 2 Line, I think…I have him what a great figure still…I would take that version in 6 inch scale for ML…
