Double review today. First I'm gonna review Granbird then his nemesis Draias.

The first vehicle Katori has access to is the Fire Jet. During episode 29 Professor Amano creates the Fire Shuttle to launch a probe into space thats supposed to generate solar energy and send it to his lab so he wont have to pay his bills (but it turns out recieving the energy costs more than he is already using). During battle Katori was tricked into leaving the Fire Jet defenseless and was severely damaged by Draias' surprise attack. Amano arrived just in time to save Katori and seeing his friends in danger channels his burning justice to bring the Fire Shuttle to life and combine with it. It is irregularly used after this.

"Fire Shuttle!"

The shuttle mode is ok. Nothing too amazing (Fire Jet was more inventive). You can clearly see the robot arms in this form 'hiding' as side blasters. If you turn him around you can see his head where the thrusters should theoretically be. He's also got a hole near the back on the right side of the back fin (used for combining).

The two halves of the Gran Cannon can be placed on the side of his arms.

Unlike the Fire Jet, the Fire Shuttle does not have flip up windshield. Instead you split the cockpit in half to fit Katori inside. It should be noted that Katori has a white 'backpack' in the original japanese Granbird release (as opposed to silver in the Fighbird release) but it seems the korean one sticks to the same silver back.

Fire Shuttle and Fire Jet.

The back fins can be flipped down and the Breaster Jet can fit on top. He is is very close to the Armed Granbird mode lol.

Katori fits into the slot on his chest. Note that the cover that folds down on his face doesnt hide it very well.

"Form up! Granbird!"
Practically just the shuttle mode stood up. It has only elbow articulation. It looks ok. Rather lackluster compared to Fighbird. The 'wings' on his head are supposed to flip back but thats a minor complaint.

His arms can revert to cannon mode.

"Breaster Jet! Jet Gattai! Granbird!"

The Breaster Jet can be combined with Granbird to form Jet Union Granbird. He uses this form to activate his devastating weapon the Gran cannon which are supposed to be housed in his shuttle cockpit halves (in the show). In the show the missiles next to his head can also be folded onto his back (not here).
