I recently picked those two up myself. Awesome figures, by the way (Jazz is the better of the two, IMHO).

As for the new rub symbols, I've found they don't really work with rubbing at all. They seem to work much better through simple heat absorption. Just hold your thumb on top of the symbol for a few minutes and that should trigger it. But your hand has to be warm, first.

I've also randomly triggered them while I was transforming them back and forth (especially with Tracks).
