I noticed the packaging says "comic series". I wonder if we will get movie version also.

I'd bet on it! I'm glad to see they are doing both comic style and movie style figures, and that they will go well with the Fury Files guys. This is the best news EVAR!

I went ahead and copied the pics and hosted them myself so we would have them for the thread. Did a quick crop and resize as well. All credit goes to the RunRunHero forum!

I'll have to pass on Brown Wolvie as I don't need him (and that's a really muddy paintjob, too) and Gambit because he sucks monkey taint; but the others I'll get at least one of. Sabertooth will definately need a new head, or complete repurposing as someone new. Deadpool will need the harness cut off the belt as I don't like it. Maverick is decent enough as is. But Spy Wolvie will get bought several times as that's a great MFing fig for customs.

Is is just me or does Weapon X Wolvie look like he's only got 2 claws on each hand?

Ah, your just being persnickety. Most of them have the left hand closed, so there's 50% of your wishes made true!

Seriously, TOYGASM!

And as for you AV, your just being grouchy like the old man you are, now go take your metamucil and enjoy the paintwipes!

You know what I want for X-Mas Custom Right Hand Closed Fist for these figures. Don't get me wrong all of these and the Fury Files are going into my collection x 2.

Ahhh comic series. I was gonna say, are we seeing Jackman in the wolverine get-up? Prolly not.

Figures look pretty good, especially deadpool.

As soon as I can get one in hand to see the scale and whatnot, consider it done. Your set is a lock.

How do you guys feel about the molded cape's on the figures? The one on Gambit looks fine but the SaberTooth one even tho it looks removable hampers the arm when it's on.

Honestly, they don't really bother me at all. The majority of the efforts to use soft-goods to make capes and cloaks has been so lackluster that a little loss of posability is okay given that the offending part can be removed.

I'm in the air on these. I was super-excited when I came across this. I love some of them. Deadpool is one. I almost popped a boner when I saw a GAMBIT but had to refrain as I'm really not sure what is going on with his head. Many of the figures hands are odd but the articulations points seem good. I'm just thinking the details could be a little better.

Specifically:
Gambit's hands & head
Sabertooth's face
Maverick's everything

I'll see what these look like when they hit the stores.

Paint wipes/washes are a good tool and look great at times; but they shouldn't be considered mandatory for every situation. I've never seen the brown suit look like that, even after a fight. It might just be an individual fig that happened to get an extra-heavy dose of the blackwash; but it just doesn't make that fig look good. But like I say, it's a moot point for me in particular.

What am I missing about Maverick that makes him look bad? After Deadpool and black ops Wolvie, he's best best fig in the bunch, imho.

Maverick: For me it's not so much the color scheme its the head. It seems very 70's Sci-Fi to me.

And I just noticed they all appear to have diaper-crotch. I hope they have good poseability.

That's what he looks like in the comics though.

Not the exact costume version. But the same mask.

Actually.... here's the one they seem to be going with.

At least judging by leg design, shoulder strap, and ammo bandolier.
