Not an April fools day joke. Was posted on ebay a few days ago. The ebay link is still active.

I don't partake in April Fool's Day on Toyark.

Ah, okay. I was just a little suspicious, since I thought they phased out the McGuinness Hulk body in favor of the avengers one.

Everybody is talking about this on the net, YouTube, Instagram, etc....I can't see this set taking off really since there are no new molds here? Hasbro didn't show this at NY Toyfair so I question if its legit? Even if it is, not worth no $200.00! Cant believe some sucker bought it!?! Tisk, Tisk!

Well the 2 pack Hulk (official one) has been selling for close to $100 for a while and a bunch of ML Youtubers have been itching for a new Tony Stark head.

I'm actually digging this set. That Now Cap has darker colors that I'm really digging and I have been wanting that Hulk to match Red Hulk.

It's funny to read some of the hate I've seen towards this set... just because the figures are older and most of us likely own them already in some variant doesn't take away from the fact that they are good, solid figures. I'd much rather see stuff like this on shelves than the garbage Titan multi-packs.

It's a solid Avengers set for somebody that does not have a collection yet. I hope a ton of parents pick this up for their kids.

Those colors on Iron Man are nice. I'd like a few of these, but I'll either get them loose or on clearance. Glad that when I recently picked up the Two Pack Hulk it was on the cheap. That set with Valkyrie is about to hit the "Collectors Only" zone.

This is a good set for someone just starting out or for kids. Depends on the MSRP too.

I've seen all of these at 1 point in discount stores like Ross tj maxx for like $8 except for hulk and now cap. Hopefully the MSRP isn't too high.

So, maybe I'm missing the obvious. . .

Where'd this come from? The seller's in New Jersey. What store did he get this from?

Yeah, the price is really the kicker here. I mean, I'm not going to get it either way, but as far as Mom n' Pop picking it up for junior, $100 (which would be about the "retail" for five figures) would be too much. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say this probably ends up selling for $70-$80 and then ends up on clearance for less. If they drop it for $50-$60 (highly unlikely, but you never know), they fly off the shelves.

As noted, it's a good "battle in a box" or a great "starter set" for a new collection. Just not much of anything here for collectors to get excited about. MAYBE the Stark Head but I think it's just a mildly retooled version of one we've already gotten (or will get elsewhere).

I am a 3.75" Marvel guy.... but I would get this and the new S.H.I.E.L.D. 3pack in a heartbeat! Boom, instant Avengers set minus a few core characters that have seen releases in the past year.

Plus this set is GREAT for MOC collectors as it is a battle in a box type display piece.

Also, there has been A LOT of stuff dropped since ToyFair that hasbro did not show as it is not aimed at our crowd. They have been doing a tonne of exclusives in this scale for major retailers as of late too. If I had to guess, maybe a Disney Store or Amazon set? Not my favourite thing to chase down, but exclusives seem to be the colour of the month these days.

have we seen more than one of these? if not what are the chances it's a very nice custom job, or maybe even a pre-pro, or demo that found it's way out the back door at Hasbro? NJ has a lot of big toy dealers, and Rhode Island is right next door. something looks a bit "off" to me about it, namely the blank background in the box.

Not a bad looking set at all, but I hate that body that they used for Ultron again. That one they're using for the Target 3 pack would've been a better choice, ah well.
