This looks amazing! It's a weird combo, but it works pretty well.

That would be cool, can't tell if that's 1/6th or a 2 up etc. Looks similar to Mondo, but not exact.

This is what we saw for Masterverse earlier in year:

That is the Revelations version of He-man, and that is well known. The first wave is Revelations, and then they are doing what they call "Masterverse" afterwards. This is what I was referring to. Compared to the other things on the shelf it looks 1/12 scale to me. I have the Mondo and yes I agree there are similarities. I would be fine if this is an updated Mondo He-man release.

It's not the Mondo version. The Mondo version has shorter hair and the one in the pic has longer hair. It could be a custom. The Shogun Skeletor is awesome also.

Does anybody believe Mattel will loose the MOTU rights in 2023?

Spector Creative (aka Scott Neitlich) does. He made a video about it last week.

They do. It's their property outright.

They sold the rights to Universal, and now share the license with Hasbro. They have first right to make toys so Hasbro can’t make toys as long as Mattel is making product. This all gets renegotiated in 2023 per Spector Creative.

That all sounds like nonsense. Especially considering they were touting MOTU as an owned IP just in February. Not buying it unless that is officially announced.

Universal only has entertainment rights to the property...for stuff like tv shows and movies.

Let's start with this, if Hasbro signed a deal in any way with MOTU, they would have announced that. If Universal purchased the franchise from Mattel, then there would have been a press release. Then Universal branding and copyrights would be on the packaging (any new releases, and reprints of existing runs). The most recent releases all explicitly state that MOTU is owned wholly by Mattel.

He looks cool but $300 is insane. Companies need to take a step back with the overinflated prices. This toy is like $100 tops.

What would be really amazing, get the license for the 'bots from the original toyline. I have a Great Mazinger (with molded sticker chest, only missing a couple of missiles). Would love to get some friends for him at a decent price.

Super 7 did (or does) have the rights to Mazinger and Dragun AND they also make jumbo machinders. So would've thought they would've done a couple by now. So I can only assume something in their license restricts them from doing those robots in that scale.
