I'm dying for Blinky to get introduced in this line.

Same here. I saw the Toad Trooper in person last weekend and it was looking great.

The Toad Trooper looks friggin awesome. Dead-Eye is tempting. I just don't feel like I should buy in until Blinky gets confirmed.

The figures look great. But $35 apiece? GTFO. Pass.

That's a double-edged sword. Sales of existing waves, especially for a small company like Boss Fight, dictates whether a line continues. I do get it tho, I've done the same thing myself.

I don't really get the hate on the price. These look to be very good figures for a line I think most wouldn't have thought to have received anything. I'm not in the market for them since I barely remember it, but if it were like Exo-Squad figures or something I don't ever expect to get in the future I'd happily pay for them.

Faux rock. You can get these at most pet shops.

I think $25 was the sweet spot for these. Just low enough to allow for an impulse buy on a line that most people may only somewhat remember. It's the main complaint I see on these. That said, these are packed for the price. And I was set up across from the Bucky display at NJCC, and the Bucky himself was selling pretty well at that price.

Is the collar/epaulette/cape piece on the Bucky figures removable?

Cape is yes. Hadn’t tried to remove the heads to see if the collars come off.

The comic debuted in 1984, but the animated series and toy line launched in 1991, and the video games in 1992.

Anyway, these figures are great and the photos are fantastic! Good poses, great setup and I really like the special lighting in some shots, especially in the last few of Astral Jenny.

I've got Bucky and Jenny, and they are nicely done. My inner child is very happy to finally have a Jenny figure. Can't wait to get Deadeye Duck.

Oh, don't get me wrong...the figures look VERY well done, to the point that I would consider picking some up despite not being very familiar with the property. But as Joe said, $25 would probably be a price that would entice more casual collectors, but at $35 you're just going to get the hardcore Bucky fans and no one else. I think Boss Fight is pricing themselves out of potential sales.

It's like the GI Joe Collector's Club. The overall price of a subscription comes out to something like $36-$40 a figure (I'm not sure of the exact math). Hardcore GI Joe fans subscribe despite that price point because...well, they're hardcore GI Joe fans. But anyone who isn't sure as hell aren't going to dive in, especially at that price.

*EDIT* Wait, what scale are these figures? The review isn't clear (unless I missed it), and neither is Boss Fight's website. I assume they're in 4" scale, but if they're actually 6-inch figures the $35 is a bit more understandable. Anyone?

*EDIT #2* Found this review, where the height question is finally answered...they're right in the middle at just under 5 inches tall. Yeah...I still think they're overpriced for what they are, but I won't deny that they're great-looking figures.

The figures are a little over 4" tall (taller if you account for big hair/ears). Due to their character types, I guess they could technically be in the "6-inch scale", but they are not scaled to fit with Legends or anything like that.
