The sculpted details and paint on this looks pretty good.

Have Sideshow improved the material choices on their soft goods recently? That and the too frequent presence of molded boots without ankle mobility have been my two biggest issues with their 1/6th line

It looks really good with a few small nitpicks. I think the unmasked head looks a little young and I wish they would give you more hands. Especially on a figure like this with specific gloves; you can't just buy another hand on the after market. Give me pointing fingers, gripping hands etc just for the hell of it. It's a $250 piece, they should afford that.

I like everything from the neck up. The helmet head is perfect and so is the helmet-less version. Lil young, but still looks good. Hands are great. Especially like how the helmet floats in his hands.

All that being said, I'm not a fan of the cloth suit he's wearing. Looks almost like he's wearing pajamas.

Wait, why does the price jump up so much just for an accessory?

Little known fact, that accessory comes from metal salvaged from the X Manson. It is fashioned from pieces of the real Cerebro machine, hence the price hike.

Homeowners insurance isn't cheap in Westchester.

I think he looks like the first appearance/X-men 1 version. For $250 they could have figured out how to give him pecs.

CCC.

The exclusive price is listed wrong in this article. They meant to type $245. It's only a $5 increase. Honestly though with how little this thing comes with $240 is overpriced to begin with.

They've come a long way in their 1/6 endeavors but they're surely no Hot Toys yet their pricing is almost the same. This is a cool looking figure, but no way worth the price tag in my opinion.

I feel like they don't realize how many more of these they'd sell at $175-200 than $240. Like it's not even a thought for me to buy it at this price, but at $200 even it's a lot more tempting.

Agreed. If this was more like $190-200 it would a lot more appealing of a figure. I'd hate to see what they charge if they ever tackle an Iron Man armor.
