Man I can't wait for a Premium Format Batman at 1/4th scale from SideShow. I already have the DC Direct Museum one which is sweet, but I can't resist the idea of one from SideShow too. I am really excited that Sideshow will also starts making traditional 1/6 scale DC figures. The 13" DC Deluxe figures drive me crazy, becasue they are such an odd size don't fit with anything else in my collection. They need to do this for MARVEL too.

I'd be down for something Superman. Favorite comic character, but I've never found any toy, statue or otherwise that I thought was worthy of picking up.

Oh hell yeah...Bring on the 1/6 figures. I hope they are as good as their Joe figures. My Marvel Hot Toys need some DC competition. The only question I have now is....should I still get Hot Toys Green Lantern, or wait for Sideshow's comic version of Hal Jordan? Decisions decisions....I'm still getting the Hot Toys Chris Reeve Superman no matter what though.

BATMAN. BATMAN Bacala. BATMAN IS BETTER!

I am very excited and surprised by this news! I have a feeling these will blow away the DC Direct 13"ers.

Hot Toys Superman dude! That is the definitive Reeve Superman.

Unless you hate Christopher Reeve, which means you hate freedom.

Why do you hate freedom?

I'm not a fan of the Reeve look for Superman. I want my Superman diesel. Doesn't work for Clark Kent, but works for Superman. 90s toon frame. Everything so far like that has something off to me though. Face, frame, colors, something.

Some day I'll find the perfect Superman, and it will be mine tho. /Picky Rant.

That's a good Batman look IMO. I'd be down with that too.

Yup, I would have to say that I agree. I have not come accross a Superman figure/staute that really does him justice and there have been a lot of them over the years. Although I do have the Full size Jim Lee Superman Statue and the Alex Ross JUSTICE figure from DC Direct, but I need something more. I'm sure SideShow will take care of this and fill our Superman void with style though.
