Looks incredible, would love to have that. What's up with Weller's license, he just doesn't give it out to anyone?

Apparently, he and his agents want big bucks for the likeness. Hot Toys ate the cost, and spread it over multiple figures, including a 2-pack. But bother Enterbay and NECA have had no luck in getting him or his agents to come in at a more appropriate price.

Also, he has been hesitant to be involved in anything Robocop in general. The makers of RoboDoc, an upcoming documentary on all three films approached him numerous times to do interviews. He declined every request. Those guys got just about everyone who's still alive and was remotely involved i t he movies to participate, except for Weller.

Now, I know that Randy of NECA met with Weller back in August, when Weller was at Monster Mania. I'm not sure if he had any luck in getting him to budge.

Man, that kinda sucks. I've wanted the HT, but still haven't bit at any of them yet. I wonder why about the documentary too; unless he wanted to get paid for that too?

I love the first movie, but don't know much about the backstory and why he didn't come back for the 3rd. I wish some of these guys (like all the Predator people too right?) would get off their high horse for their likeness. He did great work, but give the fans what they want.

To be fair, his time on Robocop was less than pleasant, especially the first film. But he did for a while feel a sense of pride in the character. He was filming another movie when Robocop 3 began production, so he had to bow out.

Over the years, it seems, he soured on the role. In interviews hew diverts the conversation when Robocop is brought up.
