I am very curious to see how they will explain it... all sorts of crazy things happen in comics like coming back from the dead, so im curious to see how exactly she got out of the wheelchair.

Its so random, but I was really excited to see Jack Ryder's name in the newspaper article, since we haven't heard anything about the Creeper in the new 52 yet, its nice that he's mentioned. I also have this crazy theory that Babs new roommate is Cheshire. The roommate's name wasn't revealed, but something tells me its might just be Jade, I'm probably wrong, but when Babs said Cheshire cat to Commissioner Gordon, I just couldn't help it lol Crazy irrational reasoning lol

This was probably my favorite book this week.

They'll have to flush out Mirror more for me to have a better opinion, right now he seems pretty generic...nothing really stands out, his design is nice I guess.

yeah but I think the big difference is she showed herself to be a much better and capable hero as oracle than just another gymnastic vigilante. It was different. A Crippled woman fighting hard and becoming a hero is more inspiring and greater than a woman who who can run and jump and play kickball.

It would have been cool if Bat Girl's new Bat Suit was what enabled her to "walk" again.

I guess it was time for Barbara to take up the Bat Girl mantle again.

Cassandra and Stephanie just didn't cut it. I'm glad Barbara's back as Bat Girl.

Barbara Gordon as Oracle was indeed amazing, but she's had that identity for years now, its time for a change.

I never really read Birds of Prey or anything, and kind of always felt like I wanted Barbara Gordon to be Batgirl so I'm glad she's back.

Oracle was a cool enough character I suppose, and I know a lot of people enjoyed B of P, I mean it spawned a television show right?

Why couldn't she do both? Maybe she could train a replacement, or why couldn't Oracle have been an entirely new character?

This isn't really a spoiler, but i was under the impression that she did take on the title of Oracle before she recovered... but maybe that wasn't the case? We know that the events of Killing Joke happened, so I just assumed she would take the role of Oracle too, but once she recovered she returned to Batgirl?

The way they worded the description was confusing in the article, I read it wrong they were saying if we would find out she was still a founding member and took the role of Oracle, not if she did...er...

but what I do know for sure is that Babs will appear in Birds of Prey #4 in the new 52.

It's definitely not the BoP I love ... but I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Poison Ivy on BoP. Katana is pretty ok too. I have an immediate dislike of Starling though... and Canary has always been a favorite lol

Honestly I think Batgirl #1 was the only title I really haven't taken a shine too out of what's released thus far. I think it's just because I enjoyed her run as Oracle more.

Reading Birds of Prey #1 kinda shed some light on Babs involvement... from my understanding, BoP did not exist and Babs was not a founding member. Canary is actually trying to recruit for the team, and Babs wasn't interested. But they knew each other previously, and Canary knew that Babs was sidelined. They don't seem very friendly towards each other either... not as friendly as they use to be I should say...

I definitely recommend getting BoP if you haven't planned on it, I was very hesitant seeing that Gail Simone was not writing this, but its still very good. This week in releases were really phenomenal in my opinion, best week so far in the new 52!
