Yeah man, that era of McFarlane may have lacked articulation, but the detailed sculpts almost always made up for it, definitely a great figure.

Picked up the latest version of my favourite toy when I was a wee one. Then came home today to this magnificent figure. The head sculpt is damned perfect.

Was at Target doing my weekly ambassador thing for NECA and ran across the new Mego figures. I've been waiting for the right character to try out the line. Frankie will have to do. He'll probably replace that tiny Mezco one:12 one. And, got a second Eleven to display with the mask on.

Awesome pick up! I'm all in on those essentials. I gotta ask you thou ive heard alot of people hate the way the mask looks on rorschach does it bother you at all? i for one absolutely have no problem with it and love the figure. But ive heard people say it looks too much like a face.
Also I literally just bought the set for Rorschach alone but found out that mime is actually an amazing figure in his own right

Rorschach absolutely doesn't bother me at all. I actually really like his mask. The Essentials line is really great. I haven't had any problems with the ankles at all. Mine stand just fine. The trick is to get the ankle turned so the small circle is on the inside. In that configuration, the foot moves freely in all directions, yet stays stable. After I open them, I just vanilla pose them and put them on the shelf. Haven't had one fall over yet. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Exactly I don’t get the hate the line receives haha. Rorschach is easily the best Rorschach figure ever released man. Yea I had a bit of a issue with the ankles on Reverse flash but then I figured out would you were sayin about turnin them until the small circle. Then it fixed him and I’ve had no issue since. And I haven’t had a single problem with any of the other 10 figures I’ve opened. But anyway I can’t wait for that Cyborg Superman wave. I think Dc Collectibles is knocking these out of the par Honestly.

Anyway sorry for the long ass paragraph, awesome pick up in Joker bust! It’s amazing lookin. It probably would scare the shit out of me if I walked past it in the middle of the night tho. Haha

A lot of people don't like the fact that the figures all share the same buck, but because I have so many other versions of the characters, the uniformity of the line is refreshing.

I have an extra Batman that I have played with and posed quite a bit. His joints have gotten pretty loose over time, but I don't know if that's a problem specifically with Essentials. Does that happen to all figures? I honestly wouldn't know, since I rarely touch mine, once they are vanilla posed.

Heck yeah, I can't wait for Cyborg Superman and Nightwing.

I’m the same way man! I absolutely love that they share the same or similar buck. Because like you said already I already own multiple versions of these characters already.

On Batman I don’t own a Batman unfortunately so I can’t tell you if it’s just him. But mine I also do the same thing haha! I get them where they can stand and then I put them on the shelf. Sometimes I bring em down to look at them closely but I never really pose or play with them. So none of mine(Hopefully I don’t jinx it) have any loose joint problems.

Speaking of new Dc Collectibles essentials apparently the Shazam and Black Adam two pack is coming out soon. It’s already been up on eBay. I can’t wait for that one. This is got to be my favorite Dc figure line since Dc Universe classics.

Awesome! I thought they were coming in the Spring. I'll have to keep an eye out.

These came today. I had to have someone else order them for me, since I don't use Amazon. The other 4 figures (Scarecrow, GL, Aquaman, and King Shark) are all sold out, apparently. That sucks royal Atlantean balls.

Even though I have no idea about the game, I decided to give these a try. Mostly just to support ol' Toddy.

I finally hunted down the 1/4 scale Kurt Cobain figure for less than the cost of a car payment. I've wanted it for over 12 years. My collection feels a little more complete now.

Oh yeah, I found Upside Down Will, too.

I ordered both of these at the same time from Horror Merch. It was a long wait for Herbert, but totally worth it, because they had the NOES set listed for $27.99.
