Very true. When I was getting everything ready for the show, I did a ton of research on eBay, Mercari, etc. to get a feel for market price and priced everything accordingly. As it turned out, I did ok, but definitely spent most of my time haggling with people that wanted stuff for nothing.

I didn't think of that! Plus, I would have had to shave to pull off that look, and I didn't have time.

I would so love that Grifter if only he has guns, and unlike 6", I don't have any 7" scale guns laying around.

Inconceivable!!

Yeah, guns would have made him a perfect 10. I have a few that might work for him, luckily.

It's been a week full of toys for you. The toys that are newly added to the collection look really nice.

Are you acting on completing your deficiencies? Or do you usually buy what you like?

Thanks. I don't have many gaps in my collection anymore, at least not ones that I'm hard-pressed to fill. In fact, I'm creating holes in my collection by selling stuff. One deficiency in my collection is my total lack of original DC Super Powers from the mid-80's, but that is by choice, whether mine or my bank account. The only thing I'm actively on the lookout for is the 3" PVC Dinosaur Neil figure to complete my Bandai Tick PVC collection. So, usually I just buy the things that are part of current, ongoing lines or new properties that I have a fondness for, mostly from childhood.

I understand very well what you are saying. I have a lot of missing items in my collection and it is not easy to complete them. I agree with the budget issue, it is getting harder and harder to get.

I only have Mr.Freeze from the Super Heroes series. I have 3 figures from the Secret Wars series.

The Tick issue is something I am very unlucky about. I was going to get the main character boxed, but I missed it. I think it was an Irwin Toys figure. However, the Bandai series are also similar to each other. Do you know the difference between them? Did they both produce these figures together?

Sometimes I missed a lot of figures because I couldn't set a budget.

By the way, your Heman figure looks beautiful. Congratulations.

From what I understand, they are the same figures, just the Bandai ones were released in the U.S. and the Irwin Toys were everywhere else. The Dinosaur Neil figure was basically only released overseas under Irwin. There are very few actual Bandai ones floating around and they catch a very hefty price tag, even more than the $100+ that the Irwin ones go for.

Lol, I kinda like the crowbars. They're better than some of the other accessories we've gotten.

Finally got some new plastic. And, yes, those are guns with Red Hood. Weird, innit?

So what's the difference between DCeased and Unkillable?

This is made before the DC ban on guns, so The Red Hood comes with guns, right? Just like the first McFarlane Thomas Wayne Batman.

They all look amazing. Good week for you.

I want to ask something. I may get a Wonder Woman figure from the Justice League gods and monster series soon. Do you have this figure? would you recommend?

Unkillables was the third (I think) miniseries in the DCeased universe.

Yes, the original Red Hood figure was released before the ban, but I assumed they would pull the guns from him for this one. Even if it meant opening each box and doing so. Or, in the very least, put a sticker or something on the outside to cover them. So, really, the mandate only comes into play if it doesn't involve time or money to "correct". I question their dedication and sincerity to the cause.

Thanks.

The animated DC Direct/Collectibles lines were some of the few I didn't collect. I have no experience with those, sadly.

In this case, I'm glad they're wavering in their dedication to the cause. I wish that happens more often.
