After reading a few reports of people finding these, I decided to go look at Walmart and found what seems to be wave 1. I only bought Venom because he is the only figure I wanted from this wave.

Venom's lacks articulation but the sculpt is great IMO.

$7.97 each.

I tried to price check them with their scanner and they were not in the system. When I went to pay, It actually scanned at the register.

Yep, I saw them tonight at Walmart in Raynham, MA. I didn't get them yet as I'm waiting for my check. Haha.

The articulation is simple and the gimmicks make the line obviously for kids, but oh well. They'll look neat on display.

I like my Venom to look more monstrous, but the thing that stopped me from buying him was the lack of a tongue for god sakes how hard is it for them to just do that!

You're right, sculpts are great but holy hell, lack of full articulation is incredibly disappointing.

The thing that stopped you from buying him was the fact that it was true to Venom's original artist?

He didn't have the tongue at first. Erik Larson gave it to him (along with the drool) when he followed McFarlane as the artist on Amazing Spider-Man.

Yep I never liked that version of Venom, what got me interested in Venom was seeing him monstrous, with his white eyes inconsistent to each other, muscles bulging, and tongue flailing out. Mainly it's the tongue all is forgiven usually if that is there, except in Spider-Man 3 Venom's case his tongue and body were insulting. Carnage looks good without a tongue not venom, unless his mouth is shut and teeth are sticking out. (IMO)

P.S. Ultimate Venom is my favorite so that also makes it hard to buy that one.

personally I think it looks better without the tongue but the lack of articulation as everyone says sucks and kills it for me I mean they made bulky figures before with all the joints like the hulk figures. whats the problem???

No knee, ankle, wrist or abs articulation. I know this figure lacks the articulation but the sculpt is great. Im glad they did the McFarlane Venom for a change plus I know we will be getting an MU Venom sooner than later.

Venom's sculpt and paint apps look nice. If I get any figures from this line, it'll be him. I remember seeing a picture of a Juggernaut that's supposed to be released in this line at some point, but personally, I'm going to get the Marvel Universe Juggernaut when he comes out. He's bulkier, and his proportions are less normal looking when compared to the SM line's Juggernaut.

Really? Source? If there's a chance we'll be getting a Venom figure in the Marvel Universe line (most likely with better articulation), I'd wait for that figure, but this is the first I've heard of the possibility.

No source, this is just my guess and wish for a Venom in the MU line.

I didn't see any Juggernaut for this line. Maybe you are confusing him with Rhino. I may just get Rhino from this line.
Of course they may make a Venom in MU. He is rather popular.

Ok, just a guess, sounded as though you had insider information or something. Oh well. I'm hoping that they do make a Venom at some point. He's one of the more popular Spider-Man villains, but I'm not going to hold my breath for it to happen. A Venom with limited articulation is better than no Venom at all.

Looking it up again, I was mistaken. This is what I was thinking about:

Google Image Result for http://figures.insidepulse.com/wordpress/wp-content/gallery/amazing-spider-man/juggernaut.jpg

I never did read what the page said, and just assumed it was going to be a later wave, as this was one of the few pages I could find when looking for information on this line.

Bit of a...noob moment for me, lol.

As for Rhino, eh, he looks interesting, but I've never been a fan of the character, or his design. Venom and, maybe, Doc Ock are really the only current figures in this line I have any interest in. Though if they were to make Carnage, Toxin, and Anti-Venom, I'd definitely get them.
