I don't recall the movie Mysterio being announced before now. Very cool!

I wish the basic figure looked more like this. instead they made him look like fartallax.

This Mysterio looks MUCH better than the original release, therefore it will probably be just as hard to find if not harder. Hopefully that is not the case. I dont like the Molten man. Doesnt appeal to me at all.

Scorpion is the only must have, while I may get Hydroman, not sure yet.

Mysterio looks cool for a movie figure.

I thought Hydro Man was supposed to come with regular human arms. Really disappointing to find out that he hasn't, as a figure like that had literally been one I've wanted since I was a kid and bought the Toy Biz Animated Series Hydro Man.

Are you talking about the comic-based version that was released recently? I think that figure is pretty much perfect.

I'm disappointed the movie version of Mysterio doesn't have an alternate unmasked headsculpt of Jake Gyllenhaal since he appears to be without the helmet in some scenes based on the trailers.

Got pre-orders in on the only two figs I want, which are Spider-Woman and Scorpion. Ordered through Pulse. I may pick up Hydro Man eventually, but he's not a priority. The FFH figs look cool and all, but I don't collect the movie based figures. Not at all interested in Doppelganger.

HydroMan is a rip..why could they have just made his arms out of real water...what a missed opportunity..stupid Hasbro.

When he was revealed, JayC from TNI said he was going to come with alternate arms. They never showed them so I had a feeling he was mistaken, but part of me still held out hope.

Doppelganger Spiderman is one of the best worst ideas ever. I had the old ToyBiz figure.

The basic movie Mysterio comes with an energy effect unlike the ML one.

Comic Mysterio is way better. I don't mind the movie based one, but saying it's the better figure is a pretty bold statement to say the least. But to each their own!

Oh, and that "Molten Man" is a pile of crap. Actually semi looks like one as well. Bad choice for a BAF. I like that they are finally venturing out away from the standard 8-10" baf, but come on there had to be SOMETHING else they could have done.

I agree with MarvelGuy85. The movie design is cool for the movie, but the comic figure is way better than the movie one. The movie costume is too busy with too much gold and not enough green.

I'm down with the comic version as well. You can tell that Hasbro put a lot of effort into the release, since they went with a 100% original and unique body sculpt that can't be easily re-used for other characters. That doesn't happen often.

And whoever came up with the idea for that insane Lovecraftian head inside the fishbowl (as well as the tentacle/mist accessory) is a fucking genius.

The movie version is fine, but his outfit looks too much like armor.

Is Mysterio's right "eyeball" cracked on purpose, or is that just an error? If you look closely at the packaged image, they're asymmetrical.

I'm new here and don't know how to delete a comment, but is anyone else noticing that Mysterio's right "eyeball" is cracked? Could that just be an error, or is it just part of the sculpt, because I haven't seen that in the promo art OR in the trailer.

Yeah, I noticed that too. At first I thought it was just the angle of the pic but it's the same in the packaged shot as well.

I'm hoping that's in the movie, because if not, that's gonna bother me a little bit. That being said, his design in general is phenomenal IMO.
