Like the title says, I went to walmart today, and low and behold, fall reset. And there was a Hasbro employee setting up this awesome Optimus Prime Display.
Got to talk to her about toys and stuff. Thanked her for all the great marvel products, even though she's just a cog in the wheel. Also asked her to tell the development boys we want Rogue and Ares. lol

PS : Picked up Classics Lion-o and Tigra

I've always wanted to run into some big head honcho and he/she sees how much I love the MU line and gives me a free case of a wave that hadn't hit the shelf yet lol.

I'm not picking on Nex...I guess it's just that with the current "down time" we're realllllly stretching for topics here.

Was the Transformer display a giant 18 wheel cardboard cut out of Optimus with shelves/pegs built in? If so they had 1 at my Walmart which was badass looking. I would of asked to take it home with me when they were done the display if I thought it'd fit in my tiny apt, lol. I would love to meet some Hasbro Reps and get feedback, shoot the shit, and possibly gain an email to keep in touch with, always good to know people on the groundfloor, as the saying says, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Eric, If you worked at Hasbro, what a 5 figures that haven't been made yet that you want to see? What about Top 10 female characters?

Years ago when I worked in retail the Nintendo rep came into the store about once a month are so to update their display and such and she always took the time to talk to us and the customers, taking notes and all. She told us that they were encouraged to obtain feedback from fans and such. So you never know.

Duh thats an easy one, Spiderman, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Wolverine. 10 Female Characters? I thought that only Mary Jane, Mystique, and Black Widow only existed in the Marvel Universe?

I met our Hasbro rep too at my Walmart quite some time ago.

Kathy is quite nice and she asks me questions about what interests me.

I think she likes me....

I have never talked her ear off, but when my friend saw her... he asked her every question under the sun.

Let's get one thing straight... these reps do not know much about the product or the fandom, they check counts and that is all~!

Do the reps even work for Hasbro or are they contracted out? I know my wife did some rep work, visiting stores and such, for Microsoft, but her employer was a different tech firm. Did not actually work for MS.

Nah, I think they are actually walmart employees with Hasbro shirts. Or it could be the CEO of Hasbro on that show undercover boss, who knows?!?!?!

Johnny...the rep likes you? Ask her out. Ask her if she'd ever make love to a Havok variant while you watched. You'd be surprised.
