Sqenix put on a hell of a display there. As time has gone on, their PlayArt figures are becoming a really desirable line. Very well made with a ton of detail.

I really hope they tackle Ninja Gaiden(old & new), KOF, Street Fighter, Tekken, Samurai Showdown, and Samus.

There is potential to be the best video game figures ever made.

sweet mother of god I NEED those Bleach figures.

Like Right now,

but they better release some other characters like Renji, Kenpachi, Soifon, Genryu & definitely Byakuya just to name a few. an Aizen in all his evilness would be nice too but I doubt it. still think Hitsugaya was an odd choice hes a main character but when theres so many other better ones why choose him?

They should be as articulated as any of the FFXIII and MGS Peacewalker figures. The articulation on Play Arts is usually disguised really well.

I want to get the Resident Evil 5 figures, and maybe DMC4. Definitely HALO and the MGS figures.

Ah I see. Well articulation is usually like this:
  • Ball jointed neck
  • Sometimes separate neck swivel
  • Ab crunch(I think)
  • Ball jointed shoulders
  • Bicep swivel
  • Ball jointed wrists
  • Single ball jointed elbows...some newer ones have double
  • Ball jointed hips
  • Thigh swivel
  • Single ball jointed or hinged knees, some have double
  • Ball jointed ankles
There actually may be more than I just listed, but Play Arts is plenty articulated, especially recent figures.

Now that NECA is done with SFIV, I hope Play Arts will take on...

STREET FIGHTER VS TEKKEN! Hell SFIV figures would be great by Play Arts too!

Oh wow. I have no experience with Play Arts. Hearing how articulated they are I am now much more interested in them.

I got 1 a few years back, Sepiroth from FFVII Advent Children. The newer ones have far more articulation than the ones from back then...when I saw the FFXIII and MGS Peacewalker pics, I was astonished at how much more articulation was added. From what I remember, each figure does come with it's own display stand. AFAIK that was standard for all of them.

This may be the savior of video game toylines...if Play Arts Kai decides to add fighting game llicenses...

GAME OVER(in a good way!)!

Just thinking about a Soul Calibur NIGHTMARE in Play Arts Kai gets me seething with anticipation...NO ONE ever did justice to Samurai Showdown in an action figure line, same with KOF. NECA stopped SFIV, so what we see on shelves is it. Seeing what Play Arts Kai has brought us, I think they can make AWESOME SF IV figures.

Wonderfest is happening RIGHT now in Japan..I'm crossing my fingers that Square Enix announces fighting game licenses for Play Arts Kai!
