I feel like I need $149.99 more than I need those figures.

These things are kind of overpriced man, I think somewhere around 100$ dollars would be more fair. I can't seem to fork out that much money for one figure that can be a hit or miss in terms of its paint job. These guys have a track record for having shotty paint shading.

They do pretty well with their Final Fantasy or masked figures. That X-23 might be tempting...if they have an unmasked head. I don't get why it's so hard to get an X-23 these days that isn't either sporting Wolverine's get up or a domino mask.

X-23 looks really good, but these figures are just too rich for my blood.

What's with all these unpainted protos? Most of these are up for preorders already and previous shows have shown painted ones...

As you guys may have seen me complain before, I think its horrible that they are charging that much. I started collecting with PAK figures around 2012. The prices started ramping up really fast with their figures since around mid-2013 while the quality has, in my opinion, remained the same or dropped (depending on the figure).

That being said, if you wait for it, Amazon ends up having crazy sales on these figures. I have seen the new ones drop to around $50 after Christmas/early January. So as long as they don't get sold out, there is a chance of getting them for a reasonable price on Amazon.

Yea, seems like there might be some delays on those. I remember they definitely had a painted 2B sometime back during a convention though. But the paintjob was a bit crappy, so they probably wanted to redo the paint?

Sad. I thought Square Enix would show some new Play Arts Kai for Kingdom Hearts 3. But they just show old stuff that already has been announced
like Zack Fair and Dissidia Tina Bradford.

Hm maybe on the next Toy Fair / Toy Convention.

Can someone tell me the Date of the next Toy Convention later this Year?
I think next is tokyo toy convention is this correct?

I haven't gotten into the Marvel variants by PAK. I have the Batman from way back when, but I don't think I can invest in the Marvel ones. They are too out of place in my collection. The Terra Branford, however, is going to be mine! I loved her from FFVI and Dissidia NT just helped reparked that old flame. But Playarts Kais are figures I can't allow myself to go for 'get the whole set' kind of deal.

As i said in anther Thread, 150$ is really overpriced.
Even for me.

Try to find some Early Bird Pre Orders on different Sites,
then the Figure is only around 100$ - 130$.

150$ - 200$ is usually the Price once the Figure has been imported
from Japan or after Release.

The Price Tag that Square Enix
always shows you at Toy Fair / Comic Conventions is already
the Maximum Value that can be seen at most Vendors after the Figure has been released.

But i can be avoided.

You know what, I actually do remember these figures being quite cheaper before. That just makes it even more crazy that they would ramp up the price of these guys even though the quality remains the same. QC is the main thing holding PAK behind, because the sculpts itself (for the most part) are pretty awesome. Again, I think a solid price would be around 100-115$. I mean, these guys are kind of big, around 11 inches I believe for most figures.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. Depending on the character, I'd probably get them if they were around 100$ give or take.

I was reading your comment and didn't quite understand what you meant by "Rich". Do you mean you think that they are too expensive, or are you talking about the paint jobs being too rich and heavily applied (because I agree with you on both).

I'm pretty sure he means price. I have to agree with him as well. These also get ko which I didn't even know...another reason I stopped collecting this line. I might just go with the x-men line if I get that x-23...

I like the PAK X-23 a lot more than the usual ridiculously over-done Marvel designs. Like the Cyclops.
