Anyone one know if the exclusive Black Series 3.75 line will last? I'm decided to skip on the Rey and hope they make a Resistance outfit version near Ep VIII. If someone could share their thoughts on the line and Hasbro making that version Rey and more figures would be great. I can't stand the 5 POA anymore.

Were I Hasbro I'd wise up and stop that exclusive shit and just put the articulated 3.75" figures in all stores. All of those have pegwarmed at one point or another in my Wal-Mart. I'd also do away with those wasteful boxes and go back to good old blister cardbacks. As to whether or not Hasbro actually will continue that line I guess we'll just have to wait and see what SDCC shows us but from where I'm sitting it doesn't look like it'll last.

For me it was a close-call between Jaina, Talon, or Mara, but I ultimately chose Jaina.

Dengar and Rex (I thought) were already rumored/being worked on.

Starkiller would be great, but the pic shown is Galen in the mask, I want just a Galen Marek, although they are the same character.... I just feel as if the picture will be the figure.

It came down to Talon and Mara Jade. I picked Mara to go with Black Series/Figuarts Jedi Luke.

Not so far, and the fact that both are here means Hasbro currently has no plans for either yet. They could still happen though regardless of final results (far more likely than anyone else in this poll). The ESB Snowtrooper ranked fairly low at the end of the last poll but he's also getting a 6" figure and so is old Ben, it seems like Hasbro still acknowledges that the characters were wanted enough to even make it to the poll so they get around to some eventually (as long as they're canon I guess since it does seem like Hasbro is brushing all Legends stuff under the rug if it doesn't a fan vote or something).

Since my 6" wave 4 Rey arrived I've been thinking I should try repainting the wave 1 Rey I had, finally got around to doing it. Just washes so far, I still need to repaint the eyes and maybe drybrush the hair but I think she looks pretty good:


Just darkening the skin tone and adding some shading to her clothes improves the figure 100%.

According to Jedi Temple Archives (in the fan choice poll article) Hasbro has been working on Rex for years. I thought I read somewhere that Hasbro was doing all the movie Bounty Hunters (hence Jango, Boba, Bossk, IG, Boussh...). Who knows though. Hasbro seems to be all over the map in regards to figures from the Black Series. Sometimes I wish they would have themed waves like a Hoth wave, ROTS wave, etc.

Nope. Ordered them both from Wal-Mart.com for $10.98 each. Some of the other figures like Rey are more expensive, but I think they're starting to clear out their stock to make room for Rogue One toys.

I think Star Wars 3.75 collectors are a bit safer than, say, Marvel 3.75 collectors, mainly out of respect for the legacy.

Welcome to a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, MUfan97! I love the Star Wars 3.75" line, but I think the deal they made with Walmart may severely hinder the future of the line because they handled it so poorly. I really hope I'm wrong and something is revealed for us.

It might just be time for a rebranding, which they may not want to do since they're trying to keep 6 inch and 3.75 inch lines under the same banner for some reason.

Still, the pegs at Wal-Mart the last time I was there were cleared of the 3.75 Black series(there were two figures there, but I was prioritizing my money at the time), whilst the 6 inch Black series was overflowing.


Come to think of it, all of the 6 inch lines in that aisle were massively pegwarming.


Either way, I think as long as people are desperate enough to seek these figures out, we'll get them.

Little note about Luke: He can hold a sonic screwdriver without it looking ridiculously small in his hand, and he's the first figure from another line to be shorter than my DW figures.

Yeah, I doubt official Wal-Mart had Rey at $19+. This was officially a rollback, though, so it was legit.

Just saw that for the Black Series 6" figures we'll be getting some Rogue One stuff and updated TFA figures. We'll be getting an unmasked Kylo Ren (don't know if he'll still have the helmet too) and another re-issue of the Rey but this time she comes with the lightsaber which is kind of a "screw you" from Hasbro to anybody that bought the original version. For Rogue One we're getting K-2SO (big lanky droid), Cassian Andor (blue cold jacket looking guy, very Hoth looking), Jyn Erso (previously seen), and a Death Trooper. I'm really worried that we're seeing these images but we haven't seen anything new like this for Revan yet, are they just gonna push Revan until after the Rogue One stuff now? Apparently winning the fan-poll by a margin doesn't light a fire under Hasbro's ass to get anything released since it's been more than a year now.
