Just recently saw a video review of the new Island Journey Rey compared with the Jakku Rey from The Force Awakens. Wow, the differences in the paint between the two head-sculpts is absolutely stunning, and yet even slightly embarassing for Hasbro on how sloppy the TFA Rey looks in comparison.

Saw this picture on Instagram of a HUGE rack of only 3.75 inch Black series figures with a giant $7 sign over them. The caption says that Wal-Marts are apparently getting large quantities in before the Vintage Collection starts, so if you have a Wal-Mart you wanna check, might want to do it now. I have a gift card from Christmas, so I'm gonna try jumping on it.

Oh, and obligatory joke about how it's only NOW that they bother restocking it.

bought these from a somewhat local K-Mart that is closing down! originally $25, but were on clearance for $23, but were 50% off due to the store closure, so I ended up paying about $11ish each! lol :P

Finally got around to finishing my Count Dooku placeholder for my collection. I went the lazy route, using the Hux body, with very minimal paints and no part swaps other than the head. While it's not accurate to the movie, I figured that since Dooku is both an aristocrat and a politician, that the all black color scheme (along with the gloves) is still appropriate and faithful in spirit to the character. I may go and make a cape for him, but in the meantime, I'm pleased with how it turned out. It'll make a good enough placeholder for one of my favorite characters until the SH Figuarts figure that was shown off recently drops.

Not bad at all. I'm waiting for Hasbro to give it a go as I'm not willing to drop import money for Dooku, although he is my favorite flavor-of-the-month villain from the prequels. I'm also waiting for Mace Windu.

I'm really hoping we see a BS Dooku announced at Toy Fair...because at least I know it would be coming soon. Bandai is really unreliable with their release dates, as sometimes they are just down the pipes, and others that have been announced still have yet to see the light of day. I don't mind dropping the extra dough on the Figuarts version as long as the character is done right, and I like what I have seen from the the prototypes thus far.

Hasbro has been hitting it out of the park with their face scan technology though as of late, and in many cases, they have been better than the imports. If they are able to get the Count out the gate, they will most definitely be getting my money. My one and only gripe thus far with the Figuarts Dooku thus far is that the face scan has him looking a little younger and cartoonish than he should.

I wish Hasbro would get back to doing some Prequel Star Wars Black figures. I still want Mace Windu, Count Dooku, Aayla Secura, Quinlan Vos, Shakk Ti, ASAJJ VENTRESS!! and of course Grievous. I really want the Kamino cloners Lama Su and Taun Wi but that will never happen.

AND while they are at it how about making the rest of the Rebels cast??? Zeb, Ezra, and Chopper??? give Ezra a couple heads w floppy hair and buzz cut and someone a helmet/ un helmeted blind Kanan heads.

I want that Rey fig, I saw someone put that head on the 3.75" black series Jakku Rey and it looked good. The regular head was a bit undersized IMO, but this one looks about perfect... great sculpt too.

I'm torn between which version of the white AotC outfit I'd want to see Padme get released in. I'm more partial to the Droid Factory version with the cloak, but the Arena version has become really iconic. Maybe there's a chance for both, that is if we can finally get her.

Hera's peg is just a tiny bit larger- so her head is a speck loose on the Jaina figure- but it's about a 95% fit. if you pull it up just a bit to snug it tighter on the ball it's fine. That's with no modding- so swap away (but heat the heads first- they don't pop off easy like Marvel Legends)
edit- I didn't put the Jaina head on Hera's body because I didn't want to stretch it out on the larger peg, but it should cross-over fine with a little heat)

Do you mean the figure comes with 2 heads like Elektra or you had to buy two of it?
