I don't care what anyone says, Holdo looks amazing and I can't wait to get the figure.

I hope they produce a decent looking Poe one day.

She is a great looking figure- but my one complaint about the toy is that she is very small. I would have expected her to be much bigger, but she come in close to ANH Princess Leia scale. She still looks good on the Resistance shelf.

I'll try to get some pictures up soon, but it's a great wave. The Battle Droid is simply perfect. Only real miss is the Padme head looks nothing like Natalie Portman, but thankfully ...or was easy to swap with the spare figuarts padme head.

I found Padme at Target today, and I'm actually quite pleased with how the figure turned out, with the exception of one MAJOR gripe that really hurts the figure. The headsculpt looks good enough at most angles, and most importantly...much better in hand, and the digital printing is spot on. I also likes that she comes with both a droid blaster and her "noisy cricket" pistol. The problem with the figure is that the leg articulation is literally THE WORST I've seen out of Hasbro figure in over ten years. Her legs have almost no forward kick to them, making her nearly impossible to pose in anything but a static pose unless you really fiddle around with them. With some of the droid characters, I expect this, but with a character who was involved in all sorts of action sequences like Padme was, it caught me by surprise it was that bad, and it kills a lot of the joy I had in finally obtaining her in the first place.

I know there were a lot of complaints about the likeness with the figuarts when it came out- but man... i just really don't see Padme in the hasbro sculpt at all... Maybe it's just the too dark hair throwing it off- but i could put it on another figure and have no problem never seeing it as Padme.

Padme temp by lowanbing, on Flickr

BUT I didn't have any issues with her articulation... and aside from legs slightly apart- gun at the ready- in the Prequel cabinet I don't think she'll see much more action and bending or twisting then that...

Wow. Great pics SlamSlayer! Really love the Leia one... that scene is pretty much locked in my memory.

Also, saw the leaked production photos of Episode 9... looks like Kylo is back to wearing his helmet. LOL.

That's great news! I hated that bit in IIX when Snoke called him out "You look ridiculous, take that thing off" Half the fudgin' galaxy wears helmets and shit- it was the one thing that made Kylo at least look badass. Would have been cooler if the lightsaver to the face had actually done some damage though and given him a real reason to wear it instead of just pretending to be Vader... lolz.

^ Yah, to me default Kylo will always have a helmet... that's his best look IMO... not too mention his mechanical sounding voice with the helmet. It is funny to me though because I bought TLJ Kylo and he didn't have a helmet like the Walmart exclusive version did and was lamenting the fact that Kylo would probably never have a helmet again now and En Sabah Nerd said something like... watch Kylo have a new helmet again in Episode 9... and low and behold... he does... probably!

I only saw TLJ once though because I didn't like it, but I think I remember him smashing his helmet in the elevator, and the leaked costume design photos were super low res so you couldn't tell if it was a new helmet or like if he just super glued his old one. LOL.

Kylo and bad ass in the same sentence just doesnt seem right. I mean the guy is as menacing as a Pomeranian and looks like a human squidward tentacles.

Technically the STORMTROOPERS burned the viilage and killed the residents. im sorry but i judt cant take kyle ren seriously......hes like the kid who got swirlied in highschool. Hes just not menacing. Hes comedically bad....like shraknado bad.

I mean if you think hes BA its all good, i just cant take the character seriously at all.

..and technically Kylo gave the order to destroy the village and killed the MacGuffin himself even but that's neither here nor there...
And that is OK! Personally i find Kylo the best thing about Ep. VII and IIX and that Adam Driver does an amazing job with what he is given to work with.
