The only Black figure my Walmart has is Palpatine and he is $22. If I could get hime for $10, I would so buy him.

The Star Wars section is empty ordinarily, but I finally saw some Black Series on display at a Canadian Wal-Mart:

1) Obi-Wan priced CAD$19.99 in a clearance area at the back of the store. No idea where he came from or why he's displayed now, as the regular Star Wars section was emptied months ago.

2) Force Awakens Chewbacca filling a single peg in the main Star Wars display.

The only other figure I've found in the Canadian 'wild' is Greedo, who still sits with Han at TRU, collecting dust.

It's almost hopeless trying to snag the most popular things locally. Thank goodness for Ark sponsors.

My Target finally got in some 6 inch Star Wars toys. First problem is that they only had Chewy and the black dude. Second problem, they were missing their pupils in their left eye.

I finally found a decent Kylo Ren tonight after waiting a month for another case to show up at Walmart. No glue marks or clothing rips to be found.

It's too bad I didn't look earlier in the day because I probably missed getting a Stormtrooper and possibly Captain Phasma. I'm just happy to have anything from TFA considering how rare the 6" line is around here!

Whoa, TRU's website actually got the storm troopers in. It would only let me buy 2 of them (couldn't even make a second order), but still, yay, some are on their way.

I don't think Phasma is actually out yet at mass retail, somewhere online I saw that wave 2 wouldn't be out nationally until somewhere between the 9th and 14th. Stores like Walgreens that already may have gotten wave 2 are flukes since those aren't considered to be one of the main toy selling stores.

My TRU actually got in 4 cases of the new stuff. Unfortunately, when I got there all of the STs were gone. They had several Chewys, many of the black dude, and several of the girl, but only one Kylo Ren. Unfortunately, my impulse urge kicked in so I bought him.

I've barely gotten to do much with him since I was at the Mile High Horror Festival all day and then we went to a haunted corn maze, but he is pretty awesome for the few moments I did spend with him. My only complaints are that his hood can not be set to look like a hood and he could have used some double jointed elbows.

EDIT:

So I like him, but there are a few issues. First, he could really use some double jointed elbows. Why are these missing on these figures? Also, he doesn't have a bicep swivel. Finally, the paint apps are pretty sloppy. His trigger fingers are white with black spots on them while his other fingers are black with white spots. He has black spots on various parts of his helmet and the round thingamajig on his back doesn't even look like they tried to stay in the lines. Other than that, I like him. Can't wait for my two from TRU.com to arrive.

Not sure if anyone here knew about this, but it appears that there is another Amazon exclusive set for 6" Black Series on the way, this time focusing on the evolution of the stormtrooper.

Interesting to note, this is the first time we'll be getting a clone trooper in phase two armor.

Man, TRU is taking their sweet ass time to ship me my figures. I shouldn't have paid $5 for 3 day shipping because it has been 5 days now and it just shipped out today. Talk about priorities. Why did I even bother paying for faster shipping when it was going to arrive at the same time for free?

That's bullshit, when I got an order using their free shipping it was in my mailbox in 6 days and that was with the free method which usually takes the longest to arrive. The fact that you payed for shipping at all should put on the top of the priority list for handling, it seriously doesn't need to take two business days to process.

Yeah, not to mention they charged me sales tax. I should not have to pay for sale tax for something I did not physically pick up in a store.

Well Toys R Us has physical stores that have to pay sales tax so then their online method must reflect this practice, which is why stores like Amazon have varying sales tax policies based on where you live. Since TRU has stores in every state and every state has sales taxes it carries over. When I order from BBTS I don't pay a sales tax since they aren't in Texas but when I order from someone like Gamestop I do pay sales tax.

Found Kylo Ren today at TRU and thought "why the hell not?" I'd rather pick him up now and find out that he sucks in the movie than find out that he's cool in the movie and kick myself for passing on the toy.

That is kinda my thought process now...
Don't want to pass up something that may be a WINNER later on.
Worse come to worse, better have and not need...than need and not have...

I understand that, but I did not buy them at a physical store. Sales tax should only be when I purchase something in person at an actual store to an actual cashier.

BTW, FedEx has rescheduled my delivery of them until tomorrow due to some error. -_- I'm going to demand a shipping refund.
