Well we know the Rogue One stuff is supposed to be on shelves September 30, it's possible the Sabine-Revan wave will be available before or shortly after. They did say it would be in the (Northern Hemisphere) Autumn this year. From memory the TFA 1-2 waves weren't that far apart last year. Also regarding the fan poll figure, they also said it takes 12-18 months I think it was to produce a figure from concept to retail so Revan and Sabine aren't really running late on that time table.

I'm jelly of those Stormtroopers. Also, why is Chewbacca blue?

One of the better Wal Marts in my town just stuffed the pegs full of those 3.75" Black Series figs, even saw a little Vader and Rey along with Han and Leia not to forget a junkload of Troopers and a couple Phasma's.

A Florida Mother & Her Son Destroys Star Wars Figures From The Pegs At Wal-Mart ? And Admits Adult Collectors? Are The Reason | Toy Hype USA Came across this article from years back and it kinda made me wonder: What do non-collectors think of us? I've carried a figure through the store on the rare occasion of actually buying at retail, and I've never gotten any crap or dirty looks from it. What about you guys?

Who cares what other people think? It's still a free country, for now. Anyway, I see no stigma. Toy aisles are cruised routinely by 'grown-up kids,' probably the most lucrative target market for collectibles, since millennials generally don't have as much mon-ay. To the extent that you have discretionary cash to blow on such things, you should be envied, not criticized. Is there any hobby more innocent than toys? The woman described in that article from 2013 should be glad to see toys on the shelves at brick-and-mortar retailers, where the biggest troubles lately seem to be cash flow and inventory distribution, not scalping. This incident may be some kind of weird psychiatric release of stress from another part of her life. Scalping just isn't that important in the grand scheme of things, certainly not enough to warrant a big dramatic scene. (If anything, the scalpers should be pitied for what seems an act of desperation. Can they not find a less sleazy, more uplifting way to make a buck?) ---------------- Six-inch Black Series collectors might be interested in these custom boxes, which strike me as quite well done, showing real flair on the part of the designer. The official Hasbro boxes seem rather dull by comparison: Star Wars Black Series 6 Inch CUSTOM VINTAGE STYLE BOX SLIPCOVERS (EBay) Last edited by Skoob; 08-19-2016 at 11:26 PM.. |

Fair point. The choice of those words (the-black-series) is lost on me. Is it merely a reference to the box color, or does it have some deeper meaning? I'm happy with a decent figure in an interesting package.

The Black Series is the given name of this line of toys, mainly I assume because of the package coloring. It's under the main Star Wars logo on all of the boxes. Part of me also imagines they went with "black series" because the name automatically makes the line sound more collector oriented.

That's awesome news; I had lost hope for SA figs when the new 5 POA was shown and no SA 3.75". All repacks but I'm cool with it since I missed out on the vintage collection. Liking those royal guards and Admiral Ackbar. The rest are just bonus.

I really just want Ahsoka, she goes for like 200 plus on ebay for the Vintage version. I will try and get Ackbar and the Royal Guard but Ahsoka and Royal Guard will be hard to find in stores #Where's Rey?

Finally received the latest wave of 6" Black Series. Ahsoka is such a nice figure! I hope she sets the standard for future waves.
