Apparently it will be a new sculpt. Scaling the image to the figure in hand the face is smaller than the original removable mask, while the paint still looks similar. The torso is also narrower along with a smaller crotch armor...some of the details are different as well like the gloves and button panels on the belt being closer together.

The head definitely looks different (can't say for sure if it's the same as the walgreens one but it sure isn't the 2 piece removable version). The gloves are ribbed on the back including the back of his hands. The entire belt/codpiece looks new, the two button boxes are much closer to the middle buckle thing. The collar armor is also new I think, it has the elevated ridge in the middle now but that might be all there. Of course it looks like it shares a lot else like the shoulders, legs, and base body.

Damn that Darth Vader looks great. I love it. And the good thing is that since he’s part of the Rogue One lineup Takara Tomy will release him in Japan meaning I can import one for 20 bucks instead of paying the stupid prices Black series figures go for around here.

I'm definitely going to get him as the ANH version is my favorite version of Vader, I just wasn't sure if he was new or not since there seems to be conflicting reports. Why didn't they give him double jointed elbows if he was a new sculpt though? WTF? Anyway, I just hope his waist doesn't look like he has a diaper on like the previous Vader did.

Revan hasn't even been solicited for pre-orders yet. The 6" Ahsoka came out back in Summer, the wave was her, ANH Luke, and Kanan with repacks of Jango Fett and TFA Snowtroopers.

We got a peak at the digital sculpt at Celebration Europe (I think that was the event) but we got our first physical debut at Toy Fair 2016 back in February and again at SDCC in July. Here he was at Toy Fair:

If it weren't for the big Rogue One push I think he'd be out around now but thanks to RO we probably won't get him and Sabine for another few waves. I wouldn't be surprised if we get that new Darth Vader and the other just revealed 6" figures before these ones that we've been teased for over a year.

Say, can anyone clarify what became of Asajj Ventress according to new Star Wars canon? Is she dead and buried on Dathomir, or...?

It doesn't strike me as coincidence that the Sith Holocron in Rebels has that character's voice. I hope she's alive! I like the character.

They did a new Quinlan Vos novel post canon wipe which was one of (if not the) first non-movie new canon. In it Vos and Ventress get together to find and fight Dooku. Somewhere during this they has the feels for each other but then when they go fight Dooku she dies. That's it, she died fighting a character we all knew she could never beat (since Dooku has to live through to the first fifteen minutes of RotS) in a book not a lot of people read. I didn't even read it I just read people complaining about it.

The wave with Revan and Sabine is slated to be out in December. They are doing the same thing as last year , 3 waves between force friday and x-mas. The second wave with Black 6in Krennic and Scarif Trooper is due in November and the Revan wave in December. Dorksidetoys had preorders up for each case and I just ordered the Revan case because I do not want to hunt for him or Sabine.
