It would make my year if I were to get any of the Star Wars or Transformers exclusives from this Comic Con. Nice shoot, its pretty cool you were able to get C-3p0 and Artoo on the back.

Sick, everyone was saying this speeder was too small and there'd be no way you could fit Threepio and Artoo on the back, glad to see you can. I wish I could get this for a decent price, this and Thrawn turned out great! And thanks the comparison pics with the other Luke, new paint apps are def better like the wash on the face and things, but the eyebrows are a bit much.

It's a little tight, but works. 3PO has to shoot to the side a bit, and figs in seats work better if they are hanging their arms out the side. But all in all, you can do what's needed to recreate those scenes.
The new look is better IMO, paint on face etc. Lips are a bit dark, and the face overall looks dollish when mixed with the soft goods. But I'd rather have this one than the first one for sure. Fabric on the new one is way better. Thin, drapes more naturally. |

I think getting the TF stuff should be easy since I don't think any of it was really hot, but I could be wrong....

I will attempt to get that Movie prime, and I really want that Primitive Optimus Prime (already have the mold), but Thrawn I want the most.

They have 2 Luke Head-sculpts from Episode 4, and each attempt was sculpted differently, but equal distances apart from accuracy and the likeness.
I will get this, but this Luke much like the first, will simply be fodder. The speeder is nice. I think they threw the Luke in, in order to justify the price of the set. I really hate...HATE the robe. It looks like a white garbage bag. I wish they sculpted it. I mean they sculpted Obi-wan and well everyone else...I do not get this failure....I mean they failed twice to give us a good Tatooine Luke. Last edited by VashTS; 08-02-2017 at 09:01 PM.. |

Dang... I really wanted this. Shame it was only available to the 10 people who bought it at the Con and the 200 who are charging the cost of a house for it.
Will this be made more readily available? Is the general release one going to come with Luke? |

They are, as usual with their SDCC exclusives, going to put it up for sale on HasbroToyShop later. However, this year, instead of putting their Star Wars exclusives up at the same time as the rest of their exclusives (which will be going up 8/14 this year), they've delayed their Star Wars exclusives to September to kinda coincide with Force Friday.

I must admit, that was a funny quip. People simply do not appreciate the subtleties of a dark comedy any more.

Thrawn was easily my favorite star wars "villian" . He was a ruthless as vader but he had one of the most beilliant and tactical minds of the empire and had his body guards not killed him ( happened in the orignal thrawn trilogy ) im sure he would quashed the rebellion. Gald hes back in cannon, just hope he survives now as he would be the only hope to quash the republic. The first order seems to be bereft of true genius minds.

Can't wait! I'm going to do my best this September and get this set, and even if I don't I'll still get the regular release.

Thrawn is a boss. Shame this figure will get churned through the resell a$$holes and marked up beyond a reasonable price.

Not many actors can say they have a toy line of themselves getting progressively older.

Capes, especially Darth Vader's, tend to look more natural and less obstructive when they're made of soft goods. Luke's shirt on the other hand definitely should've just been sculpted.
